The history of TFS goes back to 1992
when the development work of the TFS product family was initiated within the
TenFour organization. In 1993 the first product was launched to the market and
over the next 5 years the product was sold to more then 10 000 organizations
in more then 30 countries on all continents.
The first TFS products provided e-mail connectivity and security between
different e-mail systems and did not only become a leading product on the
market but also won numerous awards around the world.
In 1998 the TFS Secure Messaging product range was launched . This award
winning advanced e-mail firewall offers customers multiple security
features that provide a central point of control over an organization's
incoming and outgoing e-mail traffic.
During 2000, as TenFour focused on becoming a provider of complete tailor made
e-mail security solutions, it was a natural step to found TFS Technology AB to
be the product development company and separate the product development from
the consulting business. TFS Technology AB is a separate entity from TenFour
Sweden AB and the management team is made up of the original founders of
TenFour and the inventors and developers of the TFS product family.
TFS Technology is today a highly focused software developer providing world
leading products for e-mail security. TFS Technology also provides support for
all existing and new customers of TFS products. The products are sold through
an international network of highly qualified partners such as Service
Strategies.
