Network Abuse

Uncontrolled access to the Internet can easily lead to loss of productivity, a slowing down of network traffic and even a loss in revenue. The main causes of this are extensive surfing of non-work related sites and downloading of large files. To control which sites your workers access, you can request a number of network usage reports available in Sessionwall and use this information to pinpoint who is using the Internet for non-work related surfing. Based on this information, you can set parameters to monitor and alert offenders – or you can simply block access to certain sites e.g. sites that have violent or sexual content.
