Total Control of Email and Web Communication
TFS Secure Messaging allows your company to get
total control of email and web communication in and out of the organization in a safe way.
Located between a company's LAN and the Internet, Secure Server acts as a messaging
firewall and is completely transparent to the email user. The email security components
include encryption, authentication, key management, access control, tracking, archiving, virus scanning and filtering.
TFS Secure Messaging consists of three major parts
that together create the concept of Secure Messaging:
 | TFS Administrator is used at the setup of the Server.
All user information and email system settings are setup here. Administration and
maintenance can also be performed in this program.
 | TFS Secure Messaging Manager is
used when remote administration shall be performed. Every setting for
the users, groups, email system, Internet etc. can be monitored and
administered from any Web browser. Also the security functions, like
encryption, content filtering and web access control, are configured
using TFS Secure Messaging Manager. |
 | TFS Secure Messaging Server is the Server motor. It
processes all emails and converts the messages and attachments into the correct format for
the recipient. Virus scanning, mailback, directory synchronization, encryption, content
filtering and web access control and other functions are also performed by TFS Secure
Messaging Server. |
This solution allows for such complete
customization that individual departments within a company can specifically identify and
set-up the degree of messaging security that is needed. It is easy to install and
administrate. Using a unique combination of features, Secure Server takes a look at the
sender, receiver and message content of an inbound or outbound email message and performs
any or all of it's email security functions.

Security Features
Filtering - email can be filtered by sender, receiver,
domain name, IP Address, key words within the content of the email text, attachment size,
attachment type and mail flow.
Location Filtering - Prevents
documents from being sent to or received from a specified address.
Key Management - All keys and certificates are stored at the
server level and new keys are automatically added.
Encryption - Offers both
OpenPGP and
S/MIME capabilities and
messages are automatically encrypted/decrypted at the server.
Authentication/Digital Signature -
Verifies the authenticity of the sender to ensure confidentiality and prevent spoofing.
Web Access Control - Allows companies
the same control of web sites that it has over email.
Virtual Private Networking - Creates a
messaging VPN using the Internet or other public networks.
Virus Scanning - Automatically checks
all text and attached files of both inbound and outbound email.
Tracking - Logs inbound and outbound mail according to
sender, receiver and locations including attachments and attachment size.
Archiving - Messages may be archived
by sender, receiver or content to avoid storage and search problems.
Relying on individual users to adhere to
messaging security policies and procedures is not the most effective way of ensuring
secure email. Individuals forget to adjust security settings and well over half of the
current instances of security breaches are cause by staff members. By handling
comprehensive email security tasks centrally at the server, policies and procedures can be
controlled and monitored for the safety and security of the entire enterprise.
