Websense Inc. (NASDAQ: WBSN) is the worldwide leader of employee Internet management (EIM) solutions. History:

Websense was founded in 1994 as a value-added reseller of firewalls and other Internet solutions. In 1996, the company launched its first product as a software developer - the Websense Internet Screening System. In two years, Websense won numerous awards from high-tech publications, transformed itself into a multimillion-dollar corporation and built the largest worldwide reseller channel in the industry. In January 2000, the company released Websense Enterprise 4.0 - the most comprehensive and flexible employee Internet management application on the market today, running on the broadest range of integrations.
